The Green Beret is a sneaky shooter. It’s so flavorful you don’t immediately realize it’s pure alcohol, so you might tend to overindulge before you realize.

The taste is strong peppermint – it’s not very sweet, though, so it’s not the super fruity drink you might think it is at first glance. This is a fun drink when you want something that’s strong with an enlivening flavor.

Recipe

• 1/2 shot vodka
• 1/2 shot green peppermint schnapps

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in both ingredients and shake well. Strain into a shot glass. Optional: garnish with a sprig of mint.
