The Neon Tea cocktail, like the Long Island Iced Tea cocktail, throws a bunch of white liquors in together and disguises the surprising strength of the alcohol in a beguiling sweet flavor: in this case, sour apple schnapps.
It’s also got Midori and sour mix along with vanilla vodka, rum and gin. So much going out, but it blends into one delicious flavor.
The taste of the Neon Tea starts out nicely tart-sour, and mellows as you finish. It’s a really fun drink, ideal for sipping along with a meal or enjoying on a night out.

Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce white rum
- 1/2 ounce gin
- 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1/2 ounce DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
- 1/4 ounce triple sec
- 1/4 ounce Midori
- 1 ounce sour mix
Instructions
- Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Pour in all the ingredients.
- Shake until chilled.
- Fill a mug with ice.
- Strain the mixture into it.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel or a cherry.
