Fastlap, a Gin Drink Recipe

The Fastlap is an old style cocktail, featuring plenty of gin, some Pernod, some orange juice and a touch of grenadine. The herbal notes make it unique and special.

This is a drink for people who enjoy gin cocktails, because you will taste the gin. Pick a good dry gin you like the flavor of.

The Pernod is not as strong, especially when it’s up against the orange juice. And the grenadine. Those are your two sweeteners, and they do a great job balancing the herb taste without being overly sweet.

Try this drink when you’re in the mood for a gin martini, but with a touch of something just a little more refreshing and sweet about it.
