Southern Comfort sips well all by itself. But as you may already know, you can liven up that mellow peach flavor with a squeeze of lime, and it’s a wonderful accent. In fact, they make a version called Southern Comfort Lime, which is great.
But you can also make this one with fresh squeezed lime juice. This recipe uses two parts Southern Comfort peach liqueur to one part lime – that’s a heavy proportion of lime. The result is a fantastically awakened peachy surprise.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces Southern Comfort
- 1 ounces lime juice
Instructions
- Pour the two ingredients into a shaker half filled with ice cubes.
- Shake it thoroughly.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled old fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
