When you look at a drink recipe that features white chocolate liqueur and amaretto, you just don’t have to ask whether it’s going to taste good, do you? The Magic Flute, named after the Mozart opera because it features Mozart brand white chocolate liqueur. I think Mozart would be very pleased.
The Magic Flute has a richly nutty, carmel, chocolate flavor. It’s not particularly high proof, so it goes down very smooth, making it a hit with light drinker. It makes a fantastic dessert drink.
It’s also wonderful for just sipping along while you’re reading or surfing the net. You can also mix a pitcher of it in advance for parties.
Recipe
- 2 ounces Mozart White chocolate liqueur
- 1 ounce amaretto
Put ice in a shaker, add both ingredients, and shake everything up thoroughly. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
