The Moon Quake cocktail blends Kahlua with lemon and plenty of rum. This drink is actually pretty strong, despite how smooth it tastes.
The flavor is a sort of smoky mocha with citrus tang. This drink is perfect for sipping on cold evenings. Try one the next time you’re in the mood for a coffee drink without the heat – this one can warm you up with it, anyway.
Recipe
- 2 ounces dark rum
- 1 ounce Kahlua
- 1 ounce lemon juice
Fill a shaker with ice and add the ingredients. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon sliice.
