The Snowball Cocktail is a classic winter drink that blends eggy Advocaat with fizzy lemonade, so it’s both refreshing and festive. It’s a little like eggnog, but so much more interesting.
Advocaat is a Dutch spirit that combines eggs, sugar, brandy and more. The Snowball adds to that fizzy lemonade, a touch of brandy and a little bit of lime.
The result is similar to eggnog, but so much lighter. And with the lovely flavor of brandy coming through loud and clear.

The Snowball cocktail is a classic holiday drink. It blends eggy Advocaat with fizzy lemonade, so it's both refreshing and festive.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 ounces Advocaat
- 1/2 ounce brandy
- 4 ounces fizzy lemonade, like San Pelligrino Limonata
- Squeeze of fresh lime
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Put the Advocaat, brandy and lime juice into the cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Strain into a glass.
- Top off with the lemonade.
