Shake Up Your Happy Hour with the Strawberry Blonde Cocktail
The Strawberry Blonde tastes like a boozy Cherry Coke with cream. It blends vodka with cherry brandy, cream, grenadine and cola for a delicious treat.
Are you a fan of the classic cherry coke flavor? If so, you’re in for a real treat with the Strawberry Blonde cocktail. This drink blends the sweet and fruity notes of cherry brandy with the richness of cream, all topped off with a splash of cola for a bubbly finish.
The addition of cherry brandy gives the drink a deeper, more complex flavor profile, while the cream adds a luxurious, velvety texture. And of course, the ever-present cola ties it all together, creating a truly decadent and indulgent beverage.
Because this is one of those cocktail recipes that’s been around long enough to have variations, you should feel free to tweak it yourself. Play with different ratios, try different flavors of vodka, try different flavors of cola, try different fruit juices in place of the grenadine. There’s no end to what you can do with this recipe.
The taste is delicious, but a little hard to describe. It really does taste kind of like a cherry coke, but with cream and delicious notes from the brandy.
If you enjoy this drink, try the Strawberry Fields Forever, which features strawberry schnapps, brandy and soda water for a bubbly strawberry treat.
