Cinnamon Caramel Apple Cocktail with Fireball Whiskey
The Cinnamon Caramel Apple cocktail is every bit as delicious as it sounds. Fireball Cinnamon whiskey and caramel liqueur blend with apple cider to pack a punch that’s sweet yet powerful.
This is definitely an autumn-inspired cocktail, but you can enjoy it all year long. It’s a delicious blend of warm spices, tart apple cider, and rich caramel.
What’s In It
Most of the ingredients in this one are flexible. Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey is perfect as the base, but if you have a different cinnamon whiskey you prefer, use it.
The next ingredient is a homemade caramel liqueur. I make this using my Salted Caramel Vodka infusion recipe, but without the salt. Although you actually could include that if you like.
And finally, chilled apple cider. Feel free to adjust the amounts on the cinnamon whiskey and the caramel liqueur to suit your taste.
Change it Up
This recipe is great, but it’s also very adaptable. There are many ways you can tweak it to your liking.
Adjust the Sweetness
If you find it’s a bit too sweet for your liking, you can reduce the amount of caramel liqueur. Or if you prefer a sweeter drink, you can increase the caramel liqueur or apple cider.
More Spices
You can add other warm spices if you like. A pinch of ground nutmeg, a dash of allspice, or a sprinkle of ground ginger can all add depth and complexity to the cocktail.
Alternative Garnishes
The standard garnish is a cinnamon stick or cinnamon powder, but there are plenty of other options. For example:
- A thin apple slice
- A sprinkle of nutmeg
- A drizzle of caramel sauce
