The Cafe Nelson is a well-known, traditional hot coffee drink. Unlike a lot of hot coffee cocktails, this one does not include Kahlua. It instead blends Baileys Irish Cream with the hazelnut flavor of Frangelico.

The Cafe Nelson isn’t a particularly strong drink, but it’ll definitely keep you warm on long winter evenings.

Recipe

3/4 ounce Baileys
3/4 ounce Frangelico
5 ounces hot black coffee
1 1/2 ounces whipped cream
1 teaspoon sugar

Pour the coffee into an Irish coffee cup with the liqueurs. Add sugar to taste (hint: less sugar-obsessed palettes may not want any). Float the whipped cream on top and serve. You can garnish this drink with a sprinkle of nutmeg, cinnamon or chopped hazelnuts on top.
