The Avartini Cocktail features Stolichnaya Blueberi Vodka, which is not the most common ingredient in cocktails. Here, it provides most of the liquor for the drink, and also most of the flavor.
The blueberry vodka is clear, so the blue color of the cocktail comes from the half-ounce of blue curacao. Between the curacao and the 5 ounces of Sprite, there’s a lot of citrus flavor competing with the blueberry here.
The blueberry is still the top note, with the citrus tang following. It’s a fruity, refreshing flavor and tastes as good as it looks.
Because most of the flavor is coming from a vodka, this drink is sweet, but not cloying or syrupy. While it looks beautiful and classy, the sheer yummy-ness makes me think of this drink as more casual.
Great to pair with a burger and fries, or pizza. It can be a hit at a backyard barbecue or a simple party with friends.
Avartini Cocktail Recipe
The beautiful blue Avartini cocktail features Stoli Blueberi vodka and blue curacao for its beautiful color and blueberry-orange flavor. It's an easy drink to make that will impress guests.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces Stoli Blueberi vodka
- 1/2 ounce blue curacao
- 5 ounces Sprite
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Pour in all the ingredients.
- Shake until chilled.
- Pour into a margarita glass.
- Top with Sprite.
