The Luscious Lou cocktail is as pretty as it is tasty. Instead of shaking it, you pour the ingredients right into the glass so they mix before your eyes, or the eyes of your guests. The cranberry juice settles as a layer under the orange juice, so it looks a bit like a Tequila Sunrise.
This is a refreshing drink with a flavor that’s mostly orange with the tart cranberry flavor to round it out. It’s mostly fruit juice – five ounces – but not a weak drink by any stretch.
Recipe
- 1 1/2 ounces orange vodka
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau
- 2 1/2 ounces orange juice
- 2 1/2 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 1/2 ounces club soda
Fill a collins glass with ice. Pour in the orange vodka followed by the cointreau, orange juice and cranberry juice. Top off with the club soda.
