The Hawaiian Redneck is one of those cocktails that’s stronger than it tastes. The flavor is pretty fruity, due to six ounces of pineapple juice.
But with two ounces of rum and two more of Southern Comfort, there’s plenty of kick to this drink. The dominant flavor is a sweet but very agreeable blend of peach and pineapple.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces black rum
- 2 ounces Southern Comfort
- 6 ounces pineapple juice
- Splash of grenadine
Instructions
- Fill a shaker with ice and pour in everything but the grenadine.
- Shake well and strain the mixture into old fashioned glass.
- Drop some grenadine straight in to create the sunrise effect.
- Serve with a straw for stirring.
