Sax on the Beach Drink Recipe

A friend and I came up with a cocktail, and we named this cocktail Sax on the Beach because it made us think of a Sex on the Beach without the cranberry juice. It’s a tasty mild citrus number that’s dead simple to make.
There isn’t even any shaking involved; the trick with this one is to chill the ingredients before you pour the drinks, so stick everything in the freezer for fifteen or twenty minutes. This is one seriously delicious drink that goes down smooth – even for novice drinkers.
Southern Comfort is delicately sweet but light, and the Patron Citronge is heavier and a little more sugary. That’s why we added the touch of sparkling water – to cut the sweetness a little and get the tingle of bubbles. You can also make it without the sparkling water if you like it sweeter.
Recipe {MixThatDrink Original}
- 1 1/2 ounces Southern Comfort
- 1 ounce Patron Citronge orange liqueur
- 2 ounces sparkling water
Chill both ingredients beforehand. Pour them into a martini glass and stir.
