The Charmer cocktail flavors scotch with a touch of orange curacao, dry vermouth and orange bitters. The result is a lightly fruity, lightly oaken (depending on the scotch you use) and slightly spicy taste.
This is definitely a drink to be savored. The flavors are fairly complex, even when you use a lesser quality scotch (which I always recommend for cocktails – something decent, but not something you’d ever enjoy drinking neat).
Recipe
- 1 1/2 ounces scotch
- 1/2 ounce orange curacao
- 1 dash dry vermouth
- 1 dash orange bitters
Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Pour in the ingredients and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
