The Southern Comfort is a shot that blends equal parts Galliano, Southern Comfort and Jim Beam to create a taste that’s rather unique. The mellow peach undertones of the Southern Comfort and the sharper licorice-like taste of the Galliano smooth out the Jim… or is it the other way around?

This drink may be an acquired taste for some, but it’s certainly not one of those shots where people brag about how bad it tastes (I’ve never understood that – even if your only purpose it to get completely plastered, why not make the experience taste good instead of bad).
