Tequini

The Tequini is just what it sounds like – a tequila-based martini. It basically replaces the gin from a gin martini recipe, except that it adds a dash of bitters to marry the tequila and dry vermouth.
This drink is a fun and delicious alternative to a plain martini. It’s sophisticated and a bit of an acquired taste, just like a traditional martini, but it’s something different and interesting. Plus, it’s tequila, which is always a nice bonus.
Recipe
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila
- 1/2 ounces dry vermouth
- 1 dash angostura bitters
- lemon twist
- olive
Fill a mixing glass with ice. Pour in the tequila, vermouth and bitters and stir. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist and olive.
