The Angel Highball is one of those drinks that proves a cocktail doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s just Southern Comfort with orange soda – simple as anything, and all about the taste. The vibrancy of the orange soda gives a jolt to the mellowness of the peach liqueur.
This is a great drink for a barbeque or a tailgate party, or just relaxing on a hot summer afternoon. It’s refreshing and tasty, and much of the flavor depends on the orange soda you choose. If it’s a little too sweet for you but you otherwise like it, try it with diet orange soda.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces Southern Comfort
- 4 ounces orange soda
Instructions
- Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the ingredients.
- Stir and garnish with an orange wedge.
