The M&M cocktail is exactly what you’d expect: a candy drink that tastes a lot like an M&M in a glass. But it’s not just chocolate liqueurs or anything so obvious.

You wouldn’t expect a drink containing frangelico to taste like an M&M. But if you think about it, there’s a bit more to the flavor of an M&M that just chocolate.

And the hazelnut flavor in frangelico is rather subtle – it just adds a rich sweetness to the creme de cacao.

This is a fun little shot that’s much too tasty for chugging. You can also pour a longer version of it to sip and savor. It makes a fabulous dessert drink!

You can actually use dark or light creme de cacao – the former makes the drink a darker brown while the latter makes it more amber. They both taste the same.
