Honeydew Martini, a Midori and Vodka Drink Recipe
We may get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.
The Honeydew Martini tastes mostly like melon. Midori tastes like honeydew or cantaloupe, vodka adds no particular flavor, and the triple sec is a small enough amount to just give the drink a little edge of sweet and tart.
It’s delicious as long as you like the flavor of Midori, which most people do. And it’s got four ounces of alcohol in one serving (the equivalent of more than two standard drinks), so it packs a heckuva punch.
Of course, if you want to tweak the ratios to make it a little less strong and a little more flavorful, that’s your call. Cut the vodka in half, and you’re close to just a standard drink’s worth of alcohol.
You can also double the amount of Midori and/or Triple Sec if you like. While they’re both alcoholic, they’re much lower proof than the vodka.
If you want to serve this drink with food, it works surprisingly well with salty dishes. Try it with a ham and broccoli quiche, or these Airfryer Cauliflower Cheese Tater Tots.
You can also just serve it with salty snacks, like pretzels, nuts, asiago cheese, or any kind of goat cheese.
Enjoy a Honeydew Martini whenever you’re in the mood for a something smooth, a little sweet, and yet fully loaded. It’s a stealth drink that can sneak up on a person, so beware if you’re considering serving it at parties.
And if you like this drink, check out the Honeydew-Ginger Martini, which features Midori and vodka with Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur and lemon juice.
I’ve had some requests from people wanting to know where to get the martini glass in the picture. You can buy it here on Amazon.
