How about a shot drink that tastes just like Red Hot candies? That’s the Red Hot Shot. An absolutely delicious little drink that’s bursting with that cinnamon flavor.

This is such a fun and easy party drink! You can just imagine lining those glasses up on your home bartop and pouring this into one after another and then handing them off to guests.

And it actually tastes delicious, which is a huge bonus for a shot cocktail. There’s no need to chug this one!

The recipe calls specifically for Aftershock cinnamon schnapps. For the flavor, any kind of cinnamon schnapps will give you do, but Aftershock is red while most others are clear. The red gives the drink a nice visual kick.

This cocktail does actually taste a lot like the candy it’s named for, with the lovely addition of some delicious tequila. Have one (or two, or…) when you’re in the mood for something sweet and fun and super-tasty.

It’s pure alcohol, with no mixers. Just two ingredients, very easy to make. You just pour it into a mixing glass with ice, stir to chill the ingredients, and then strain into glasses.

You can alternatively chill the ingredients beforehand and just pour them straight into the glasses. That should keep it nice and cold, especially if you chill the glasses first.
